Food refusal

The training goal of food refusal is to teach the dog not to eat anything he comes across on his walk or that is offered to him by strangers, without the permission of his owner, outside his usual feeding time and place, the purpose of which is to protect the dog from poisoning.

This type of training is quite difficult because it goes it goes against the dog’s scavenging instinct and also because it depends on the character of each particular dog.
